This first-of-its-kind tour invites you to experience the tranquil beauty of the river at dusk. As the heat of the day fades, the golden hour of sunset bathes the landscape in warm hues, and you’ll float down the river, hearing nothing but the gentle trickling of water and the melodic songs of birds preparing for sleep.

For this adventure, we use an oar system, meaning your guide will do the paddling while you relax and take in the scenery. With your hands free, you can fully enjoy the experience, take photos, and immerse yourself in nature—making this an ideal tour for families, children, and older travelers looking for a more leisurely ride.

As night falls, the forest comes alive with new sounds—cicadas, crickets, and the rustling of nocturnal wildlife. Our bilingual guide will help you spot elusive creatures such as bats, owls, and even tree-dwelling anteaters.

After returning to dry land, you’ll be welcomed at the Hidalgo Family Home to enjoy a traditional Costa Rican snack—a perfect way to end this magical evening on the river.
