With so many hot springs on offer in the La Fortuna area, it can be difficult to decide on which one to visit, but EcoTermales stands out as something special. It is one of the most natural and low-impact hot springs in the area, with as little alteration of the natural settings as possible. It is set in the native tropical rainforest with the hot spring water being channelled through various stone-line pools for you to explore and enjoy. 

The number of reservations per day is limited, meaning that these hot springs are less crowded than others in the area. Two time slots are available: the day (10am – 4pm) and the night (5 – 9:45pm). The day entry is perfect for those who want to seize the day and enjoy the sight of the rainforest trees reaching up into the sky. The night entry is recommended for those looking for a more romantic and atmospheric experience. 

As well as the pools, Ecotermales offers an elegant bar where you can relax with a drink as well as a beautiful restaurant serving an exceptional array of top-class food.
